Tax Help
AARP and VITA offer some in-person tax help within limitations - check each website below. Appointments are required in many cases.
**AARP and VITA may not have help sites scheduled until after January 1st.
AARP TaxAide provides some volunteer tax help sites starting in early February.
AARP TaxAide sites in the local area may not be announced until after January 1. Note that appointments may be required. Each location has different contact info.
They also offer some limited Online help during the season.
United Way’s VITA program also provides tax assistance - income limitations may apply.
VITA Tax Help sites in the local area are listed on their local Tax Services website or call 515-283-0940 for more information.
There are limitations on the service – please check the website before contacting them.
